I got this idea from Errie's. I just modified the board and I made the cards which are suitable with my class. Thank you Errie.

The following board game will help your students learn the prefixes forming negative adjectives and practise them in speaking. 

They may work in pairs or groups.

NEGATIVE PREFIXES (adjectives) - Board game

Vocabulary list for students to translate into their own language and flashcards for students to fill in in English. Based on PhilipR's Animal Kingdom board game.

The Animal Kingdom

The object of the game is to find the different opposites and become the first to fill his/hers playing board(s). For 2 to 4 players. 

Pages 2-5 are the playing boards. Cut them out and give one or more to each player. Pages 6-9 contain the playing cards which have to be cut out into 64 cards. If you want, laminate the cards.



Opposites game

This is a board game practising  the Second Conditional sentences. It is a good game used as  icebreaker. Students develop their speaking and grammar skills. Have fun :)

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
