Learners taking the C1 Advanced exam should be able to: Express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>

You can use these cards together with the endings cards to easily sort nouns by the ending you add in the plural form. Use them playing a board game or the tic-tac-toe game.

Student takes a card and answers the corresponding question. Other students or the teacher can ask additional questions about the topic. If the answer is appropriate, they keep the card; if it's not, they return it. The winner is the group/student with more cards.

Personal Information Cards

All the words were taken from the SB English in Mind 3 (New Edition), but can be used just as practice to train negative prefixes. 

Cut the all the cards and give a set of cards to individual students or to small groups of 2-3 people. Organise a competition: who is the first to match the pairs.

These are question cards I use with my students. They include basic questions such as: what's your name, how old are you, where are you from, etc. I give the cards to each pair of students and have them ask and answer 

Speaking cards (Beginners)

Taboo game with schoolrelated vocabulary. Students must explain each concept without using the words that appear in the card. This activity is useful to foster speaking skills and reinforce vocabulary

Practise the present simple and continouos with a multiple choice exercise in affirmative,negative and interogative sentences. The cards can be cut and laminated. The back of the cards is included in the document. Enjoy
