Colour and B&W ws to practise simple past tense.

Students have to tell/write what they did at home using adverbs connected with past tense. They can also roleplay the different actions..

Exercise suitable for practicing present perfect or adverbs of frequency. In first case, students ask themselves the chores they had done in between lessons. Then they ask when were they done. In latter, students ask how often do they do these chores. As a follow-up students could ask if they like doing these activites. The most diligent wins!

This worksheet is for very young students in order to practice face vocabulary. The students have to number the pictures. You can use this even with children who can't read yet if you dictate the words.  You can use it as a game or a competition too.

Picture dictionary - Household chores

Print and cut out enough cards, then divide your class in groups or pairs. Give out a stack of cards for each pair/group and place them picture down at random, then students should take turns and look for matches.
