The ss write the correct time, and then match the time with the correct clock. They can practise the grammar with this ws or you can also use it as a test. There is also version A, so it's perfect for a test. Hope it's useful.

Speaking worksheet for elementary students to practice the structure there is/there are and some and any in the interrogative, negative and positive forms. Have your students work in pairs and ask them tell you how some and any are used. Then they can write a shopping list according to what they have/don't have in the refrigerator!

The time

This is not an original; it's a game a learnt from my grandmother and has provided hours of hilarity since! I now use it with my students to practice narrative structure, sequencing, and reported speech.



Here's how it works: Each student is given a copy of the w/s. They secretly write down the name of a famous man and then fold the paper over so that the 'Met' is showing. They pass the paper on clockwise and, with their 'new' sheet they write the name of a famous woman, fold it over so that 'At' is showing, and pass it on again clockwise. Do this until all the fields are completed... then pass it on one more time and each person takes a turn to read the narrative they're holidng!



Once you have the concept down pat you don't need to use the worksheet any more.

Students practice adjectives to describe a room by drawing a crazy looking bedroom. 

Each student (or pair) receive a cup with numbers 1-10. They then draw a number for each type of furniture (replacing the number they draw each time) and draw the bedroom accordingly. Once students have finished their drawing they can describe their room to the class. "The big lamp is next to the small clock".

A funny and useful worksheet to practice the time. Pupil read the text about the Mr Bunny´s actions on Easter morning and draws the hands on the clock. Good weekend ;-) and... hope you find it useful!

Pair work activity. Students ask each other questions about Alice's day in order to complete the table. Great way to review the time and the third person.
