It helps the students to identify the parts of the face and body plus colours and the names of clothing.

This is a pictionary. Students can look at the picture and practise spelling. They can say the words out loud. They can create sentences with the words used in the pictionary.

Clothes and accessories

Colouring exercises featuring parts of the house and clothes. Perfect to revise knowledge of clothes, parts of house and colours. I made this for my students to practice before their test.

In the first section the student has to choose a summer/hot weather clothing word and put it in the appropriate sentence. In the second paragraph, thee student has to choose a winter/cold weather word from the box and put it in the correct sentence.

Dealing with clothes

In this activity, students create, work at, and shop at a clothing store in the classroom. The activity reinforces clothing vocabulary and conversations at a store between customers and salespeople, and between customers and cashiers. Additional required materials are the clothing items used in the store (a donation bin of used clothing works great), colored pencils/crayons and paper to make sales tags and signs, and speakers for music. The activity is designed for 36 students but can be tailored to your class size. The first three slides are assignment cards. Each student gets one card, assigning them roles as a salesperson, cashier, or customer. While the six sales team set up the clothing store, cashiers and customers cut money and receipts (slides 4 and 5). As long as students understand their roles, the activity basically runs itself.
