Students explore collocations such as cope with stress, build resilience, experience burnout, seek support, show vulnerability, suppress feelings, emotional stability, and mental breakdown while improving their speaking, grammar, and vocabulary skills.

Kiss as a verb- collocations

This is a Domino game of 16 cards; verb on the right side of the card and a noun or noun phrase on the left side of the card.  The object is to connect the verb from one card to the appropriate noun on the left side of another card.

Designed for intermediate students to practice common collocations with the verbs; make, do, take and put. Students read the dialogue as Maya tries to entice Tashi to come and build a snowman.

Dialogue uses authentic language, and students can use it for speaking / fluency practice after completing the worksheet.

Learners taking the C1 Advanced exam should be able to: Express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
