Reading exercise concerning the relation between colors and personality. With comprehension exercises.

True Colors

I drew these pencils to prepare a template and decided to use them as a poster. It's to be used as reference or in games and oral activities. I don't expect my students to learn all colors, especially the male students who can barely distinguish between green and blue and only recognize the primary colors :). I preferred teaching colors on the theme of fruits and prepared that worksheet. It worked well in my class. Hope it works in your class, too. In fact, before letting them do this worksheet, I had a video of my own. I was showing the real fruits and saying their color. If you wish, you may bring that fruits or vegetables into the class.

Ask children to read in loud voice, color the toys according to the instructions. Ask them if they have some toys: Do you have a dool? What color is it? Show some toys and ask Which toy is it? WjHt color is it? Do you have a kite?

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets
