Anytime the school report approaches, I use this worksheet do distract my students from all the pressure around getting bad grades. I provide them with the first page and then I cut the second page into strips and let them match the pairs together. 

Teachers´comments

Make comments about what you like and don't like. Roll the dice and land on a square such as "camping". Say "I like camping because______ (it's pretty)_______" or "I don't like camping because ______(it's boring)______". This is a cued way to form comments and complex sentences with "because".

Comment game with complex sentences

This worksheet consists of a brief grammar explanation and 3 exercises. Students choose correct answers , then fill in the gaps in the text and finally they complete the crossword. Key is given.

Reading Log Activity Comment Directions

Students preparing for their GCSE or matriculation exam can study an example of writing a blog comment, followed by a similar task. They need to argue besides either a laptop or a tablet.

The handout consists of a few activities which are based on the comments written under the Economist post about the "Squid Game" TV show. Students will be able to study phrases to express opinions, work out the meaning of the new words from the context, and etc.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
