This worsheet was designed for my students (professional courses) to practise some business- related compound nouns.  Students need to read the definitions and match them with the compound nouns they need to figure out. Have fun.

Simple and Compound Sentences

The objective of this worksheet is to form compound nouns.

There are 20 definitions of compound nouns (numbered 1-20) 

 The clues are in the pictures, e.g. : SS read definition number 1 and look at picture number one. This is the first part of the compound noun. Then they search for the second part which they'll find in the pictures with letters. Then they read the definition for the secound compound noun, look at picture 2 and search for the corresponding match in the pics with the letter. This is repeated until all compund nouns are found.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
