Simple crossword that can supplement a lesson about different countries. There is a word bank that allows students to easily match country names to the spaces given. For a more difficult worksheet for a higher level, this could be removed.

It's a gap filling exercise. In each sentence there is one word missing. It's either the name of the country its nationality. the student decides according to the text or the picture.

In this activity students are supposed to search about the language and nationality of each country that is going to participate in Brazil's world cup.

Look at the pictures of the places and label.Write the capital city of each country from the word bank.This is a good exercise for elementary grade students.Use a map in conjunction with the worksheet.

World of Countries

this worksheet is prepared to make the students familiar of the flags of certain countries while teaching country and nationality by coloring and hanging them on the classroom walls.

Learners will do  some google search and try to collect information about their own country and fill the gaps that is provided on the worksheet. At the end they can use the information about their own country and try to write  a paragraph describing it.

Describing my country

For this activity, students randomly picked one paper from a bowl where I wrote about 25 countries. 

For this worksheet, they will learn how to research for information with the help of the internet and encyclopedias. Students can use it as homework in case they don\'t have access to resources. 

Students will also learn about how to find the specific information and turn them into an informative text. 

With this worksheet, they will not only put their writing skills into practice but also learn new things and facts about the topic.

 After the students finish their homework, they will present it and talk about their country in front of the class to share what they found.
