This is an activity developed for advanced students in which they can learn a little bit more about Russia's culture during the World Cup of 2018. First, the teacher may ask the introductory questions as a warm-up session, then have the students read the texts, and at the end there are some possible questions for a follow-up. But, of course, the teacher and students may and should engage in further conversation concerning the topic, maybe comparing Russia and their own country.
