RELATIVE CLAUSES

It gave me an inspiration to create a worksheet for my pre-intermediate students.There is a short rule concerning the usage of pronouns and I also decided to tell the students how to use the prepositions in relative clauses. This worksheet contains three exercises to practise relative clauses: from easier to more difficult. They are useful mostly for secondary school students and adults. 

Relative clauses and the media

Pupils often have problems to describe words. This worksheet gives pupils a clue how they can do it. Furthermore they can practice relative clauses.

As a warm-up in my English lessons some pupils come to the front and explain words and the others have to guess the word. They can also do it with a partner or in small groups, so that everybody has to say something.
