This can be done as a simple worksheet, or it can be used for a pair work activity to practise rooms, furniture and prepositions. I do this as a running dictation - I pin the instructions on the wall, great fun!

My friend Michela sent me this postcard and I've created a new worksheet with it! It's a writing activity to practice the descriptions of places. There are some useful words which help students to know something about this place. Ss can use these words to describe the postcard. There's an extra writing activity: Ss write about the place where they spent their summer holiday.
