Easy and useful dialogue giving students a hint on buying clothes. Can be used for first lesson or as a practice. It can be altered into a gap fill exercise or used as a sample for other data as well.

Very simple two person dialogue using simple present, present continuous, some descriptions with adjectives.  And question sheet follows for comprehension practice.

Two Person Dialogue: Present Tense

This handout can be used to practice a dialogue at a restaurant, using basic, but essential language.  There is a dialogue, followed by sorting of Drinks and Food, and some pictures which should be labeled with options at the end.  It can be expanded into more complex language according to students´ level.

First Impressions Dialogue Character Cards

Intermediate level worksheet.  Used to practise and recognise Subject + verb + complement.  The students have to re-arrange the words to make coherent sentences.  They can then practise the dialogue, working on intonation and stress patterns.

At the Hospital - gapped dialogue

These cards present students with different situations that can occur while they are out shopping. They read the information and instruction on their card ,then practice and act out their dialogue.

This can be given to the students as a worksheet or can be shown to them on an overhead projector. They will have to write three dialogues between themselves and workers. They can then act out of the dialogues they wrote in front of the class to practice speaking.

Dialogue writing (polite vs, impolite)

Student B chooses a path for the dialogue to go and student A must choose the correct responses based on this path.  It is great practice for conversation and speaking and listening.  It is a dialogue and an activity.

Two Old Friends - A Dialogue

This worksheet has several examples of dialogue. Students must be careful of where the commas and quotation marks go. The 'He said,' part of the sentence is sometimes called the 'tag.' By noticing if the 'she said' part comes before or after the quote, students can remember if the comma goes inside or before the dialogue.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
