A fun board game for two to four players. Roll the dice and answer the question. This is a good activity to practice speaking skills and get to know other classmates.

About You Board Game

Students play in pairs.They throw the dice and draw the fruit corresponding to the number of spots. At the end, they have to count how many bananas, pears, etc. there are in the fruit bowl.

This game will be useful if you find it difficult to motivate your students to speak.

You will need a dice, or one of you can count in silence until someone says 'stop' to get a number.

CHRISTMAS

This is a board game activity that can be played in pairs or groups. Learners take a character template each and get a dice and a board game template per pair/group. Then they play according to the instructions.

At the end they describe their character, first to their partner/group, then to the class. Later, the whole class can make an exhibition of their characters.

DESCRIBING PEOPLE: ROLL AND DRAW

It is a wonderful film to deal with the topics of prejudice and discrimination. I include a Pre-Viewing activity to introduce students into the issue of the apartheid. If the class allows, you can deal with the poem itself afterwards!
