These paragraphs can be used together or separately depending on the level of your students and the time you have. Put the paragraphs on a wall or outside the class, one student goes and remembers as much as they can, walk back to their partner and dictates it. This continues until the whole paragraph has been dictated. You may need to pre-teach vocabulary such as ´full stop´ ´capital letter´ ´comma´ etc.

this worksheet is for practicing students how to make requests with useful language. One more activity is considered as dictation. Students will work in group of 4 or more to run to the tetx and dictate to their secretary.

This is a whole lesson plan in which students won't have to write but draw the room the teacher will describe.

It contains two different levels, for both elementary and intermediate students.If used, you can always adapt the level of difficulty by adding more complex sentences.

It's a different approach to dictation and can be really useful for listening comprehension.

Running Dictation - In my classroom.
Students should go have a look at the text and they have to remember as much words as possible and write them into the gap filling activity.

Explain to students that as you dictate you are going to replace a word with the sound ‘beep’. Students must complete the dictation as normal but choose the word that fits in the gap.

I usually use this for running dictations around Thanksgiving to teach the students a little about the holiday and let them have a fun activity which practices all the skills.  You could definitely do a lot more with it concentrating on vocab or grammar.

Short story of Halloween history and customs.  I use it as a running diction but you could use it as a reading also.  There is a quiz that goes with it.  Also great for a telephone type game where the students have to pass the story down a line of students by talking and the last one writes it down.

Partner dictation--Students must ask each other questions using "How much?" and "How many?"

•	This is a partner activity.  Students practise, reading, speaking, listening and writing.

•	They are not allowed to show each other their sheets.  

•	They take it in turns dictating their sentence while their partner writes it down.  

•	When they finish they practice using the dialogue.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
