Here students can practise some things people do during their holidays. So first they match the actions with the pictures. Then they rewrite the sentences in the Past Simple. You can also ask students to make TRUE sentences about themselves and their holidays - this way they can also practise the negative form with "didn't". Key and greyscale are included.

Learn the difference between used to, be used to and get used to. The worksheet tells the reader the difference between used to, didn't use to, be used to and get used to. With sentences to fill in the blank and then rewrite sentences.

2 pages. I know there are plenty of worksheets on the subject, but I had to make this one using words and expressions that my students already know. I didn't even use "why" because they haven't learned that one yet. Anyway, I had a LOT of work making this, so I thought I should share. Maybe it's useful for some of you! Wh- Words and Questions

Rephrase the initial sentence using the prompts. In this worksheet students have to rewrite phrases like "I should have", "Why didn't I", "What a pity", etc. using "I wish" and "if only" structures to express regret.

ANIMAL BODY PARTS

The worksheet contains eight basic English riddles with an answer sheet on the second page. 



It can be used as a warm up activity that is fun yet challenging. I certainly didn't know most of the answers without the key!



All eight riddles are from http://eslmobi.com/3i/a_riddles.htm . I simply chose the riddles from the site and formatted it in Microsoft Word.

Complete the sentences in the present first then students complete sentences in the past using "used to"/ "didn't use to" .

First study the article. I let them work with a partner on vocab, then we do the listening gapfill. After checking, students work in pairs or groups to complete the rest of the activities. 



Most of my students hadn't heard of most of these mysteries or conspiracies... so it didn't work as well as I dreamed. If you have a computer in your class you might want to make a PPT with some pictures or a show a youtube video to go along with it. 



This lesson was designed for a 2 hour class of adult intermediates. 

Conversation lesson on Mysteries, Conspiracies, and Other Strange Things

This worksheet is for 8-9 year old pupils. The idea is that the teacher can test if they acquired the basic skills necessary for a simple communication (greetings, age, name, gender, thanking, expressing preferences) and some basic vocabulary items like parts of the body, colours, school objects and meanwhile the pupils don\'t even quite notice that they are tested, because the items are composed in a fun, engaging, quest-like manner - hence I didn\'t include evaluation (they should do it for fun, not just for the result itself), but you can adjust it to your preferences.
