This worksheet is for intermediate or advanced adults.  The purpose is to describe items in a dollar store advertisement.  It is intended for my Japanese students to compare to 100 yen stores here, but can easily be adapted to wherever you are.

Second Conditional - song - If I Had a Million Dollars by Barenaked Ladies

I made this ESL worksheet to practice the causative. This is a classic game where students bet with play money on whether sentences are grammatical or not. They can decide how much to bet in each round. Game is to multiply their original capital of 100 dollars. Great game, tried it today, it gets adults engaged just as much as teens.

1) pupils make their own horoscopes for all zodiac signs. It can be only one sentence containing will structure.

e.g. You will win 1, 000 dollars. 

2) Then they ask one another :"What is your horoscope for my sign (cancer)?"

3) Pupils have to note the name of the person they ask and his/her answer in a first person form: I will win 1,000 dollars.
