One student holds the image while the other draws with their eyes shut. Student A must direct Student B on what to draw and where. They can help as much as they can but only using words. SA is not allowed to touch SB in any way and SB must keep their eyes closed (I made them look at the ceiling).



Before starting, we brainstormed location words on the board to help the students who are to describe the image to their peer.

 

This was used to support a lesson about bats. It's a really fun activity that allows students to create silly drawings while using a lot of English.

students have to draw the time on the clock provided by reading the text showing a daily routine. When finished, they have space to write their own daily routine and then draw the time for themselves matching it to the time written in their daily routine.

this is similar to a picture dictionary that the students make themselves. They draw what the words are.

This game helps to teach children the names of facial parts. 

It starts by dividing the class into two teams. Then draw 2 ovals shapes on the board. Then yell "Draw the teacher's eyes!" and the two leading students from each team run up and draw your eyes on the oval, Then yell "Nose!" which is drawn by the next two students. And so it goes. The student get a ball out of this as they have permission to make fun of their teacher, and your image can get to look pretty distorted. You can add other features, such as nose or ear hairs. This will also work if you want to do body parts as well. Just draw the basic torso instead of ovals.

Create a monster: throw a dice and draw a monster. Your students take 3 turns. There is a range of 18 body parts to draw. You can use already prepared templates. The other way of playing is drawing a monster's body without limbs, then students can use dices.
