Students play in pairs.They throw the dice and draw the fruit corresponding to the number of spots. At the end, they have to count how many bananas, pears, etc. there are in the fruit bowl.

I am going to participate in the Monster Exchange Project and have therefore created a simple handout for elementary students.

Monster Project

This is a listening activity about a response to a classified ad perfect for introducing vocab and speaking practice for renting an apartment. The audio is clear and slow but a bit long and so I broke it into 3 parts for activities for low level students. the first is fill in the blanks,  inthe second I cut out the lines for the Ss to order. the third activity is to follow the directions on the map which I cannot include yet as I don't have a scanner..it is easy to draw for yourself anyway.

Phone Call about Apartment

This worksheet is great for kids. They can write in their dream job, draw a picture of their future selves with the template, and write what they will do in this future career. 

Dream Job

After having taught the names of animals, you cut the pieces apart and put them face down. Students take turns drawing a card and now the other students must guss the name of the animal. Card holder can only answer Yes or No. The one to guess the animal gets to keep the card.

Guess My Word (Animals)

Students will unscramble the words and draw a line to match the photo to the word. A perfect Easter themed activity to gain more knowledge on the holiday. Great for elementary/intermediate levels!

The first page is a normal grammar exercise in which students must follow the instructions, deciding if the sentences have the correct word order or replacing one object with a pronun.



The second page is a list of common double-transitive verbs, which you should cut out before the lesson and put into a bag. The students then create a chain story, where each sentence has to contain one verb drawn from the bag.



Topics that I've seen work for this exercise:

1. Little Red Riding Hood

2. The Snow Queen (you can use a variation such as Elsa and Anna)

3. A holiday adventure

4. A fantasy trip (good for revising conditionals at the same time)

5. The life of a famous person

Direct and indirect objects

There is a wordsearch about the weather, the temperature and the seasons. Then, the students have to put those words in the correct column. Ths students will have to draw different weather conditions and stick it with the degrees centigrees on the different mas and present the weather in front of the classroom. The rest have to complete the chart with the information given in the presentations.

The weather 

ss look at the pictures and they have to complete the sentences with the past tense of the verbs. there are only irregular verbs. When they finish they draw the time on the clock faces.

The objective is to know some vocabulary about universe, after the students can draw all the words and create the solar system or a galaxy

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
