A reading comprehension activity about the manipulation of information and invasion of privacy by the Media. There is also a rephrasing exercise with the reported speech and some connectors.

Where do we draw the line?

Pair Work exercise useful for practising speaking and listening skills and giving/following instructions. Put students in pairs and give each half of the worksheet. Student B tells student B where to go on the grid and what to write or draw. Make students can not see each other´s sheet. This ws allows the whole class to practise simultaneously. At the end of the exercise, Ss should compare their answers to the teacher´s answer sheet. TThis ws focuses on house(hold) words.

Brainstorm the rooms/ layout of a typical house as a class and then use this worksheet as a consolidation and personalisation of the concept.

The students complete the months with the correct spelling and then draw a picture which reminds them of each month, for example October they could draw something to do with Halloween, and December could be a Christmas picture, or they could draw a present for their birthday month. Can also be used to revise which months are which seasons.

This sheet is good for practising prepositions of place, colours, animals and adjectives. This could be used to help students with basic reading comprehension. The sts need no read the sentences and draw what is written. The last box is empty so the sts have the opportunity to create their own sentence. It´s a great way to practice the prepositions In and On.

I have prepared this worksheet for my infants classes to enable them to complete the names of the professions and to allow them to draw pictures.  



I find that infants like to draw pictures of things or at least to colour in pictures and I have included only the simply professions that they would immediately recognise.

JOBS - COMPLETE WORDS AND DRAW PICTURES

The is the game in which students work in teams and their task is to present the words on a card. Students have 90 seconds to do it and their team must guess all the words. If they guess one word - they get 1 point, if they guess two words they get 3 points and if they manage to guess all of them - they get 5 points. The first word should be drawn, the second showed and the last one talked about. If you have a weaker group, they can have more time to do this task. The group with the biggest score wins.
