This very easy activity can help very young pupils to memorize opposites (wet-dry): they look at the pictures and circle the right word.

You can use it as homework assignment too.

WET or DRY?

A grid game - Ss match a well-known personality with a regular job, and explain why that person would do well in that job. Set up for Chinese Ss, replace stars' names to adapt for your classes!

Celebrity Dry Cleaners - A Grid Game

A worksheet asking for some simple vocabulary about seasons, giving a sentence about each season that they must fill in the gaps, and an explanation about wet and dry seasons.

Season

In this game, students make a die (dice) that has pictures of parts of the body on it. After making the die, they roll it, using the game sheet to track how many times each picture comes up on top. I use a stamp to mark the worksheet, but you can use stickers, draw a check-mark, or even laminate the sheets and use dry-erase marker on them.  My students love this game! Here it is the first part with 20 opposites: hot, cold, wet, dry, clean dirty, big, small.. Cut, laminate and they have to match the opposites. Hope it´s useful :)
