Getting to know each other

I made this worksheet to help my students get to know each other. They haven't met before, so I want them to use this questionnaire as an ice-breaker. There are questions the answers to which can be very informative. 

This is an example how students can introduce themselves to thier class mates in a very first lesson of a course. Especially if the students alrteady know each other from the previous course (name, residence, date of birth, jobs, family, etc.). This can also be a warm up activity before starting a new topic or even course. 

This is a slambook. In order to get to know each other better students can complete the worksheet with their personal information and then they can interchange with someone else. Have fun!

getting to know each other

This simple although useful worksheet was made to help students to know each other. It can be used on the first day of a basic 2 class. Students throw a die alternatively and talk about the topic on the square. Another possibility is to ask the students to ask questions about the topics done. It can also be used as a level test of a student with little previous knowledge.

It can also be played between a student and a teacher, being useful in private classes with only one student.

The teacher can also ask students to talk or write sentences about a third person, as a follow up so students will be able to practice the third person singular - simple present tense.

to use for new groups of students and for a new teacher in class - if you use it for a group of students who dont know each other well, you can even put it up in the class so that everybody can look at it and get to know each other

In this speaking, writing and reading activity, students and teacher can get to know each other better. The idea is to use this activity in the first classes, as a guide to know better your students and get information from them. This way, teacher and students will be able to work in a better way during the semester and have more fun. Hope you all like it and use it with your dear students.
