Lose Yourself - Eminem

This is a listening worksheet for 'Mockingbird' By Eminem. I have a student who really likes his music. I think its a great challenge because the rap is really fast, even though I realize a lot of his lyrics are rude or contain a lot of slang. It has sections, some parts are gap fill, another is sentence ordering and another is word circling (which is really easy). I didn't limit how often my student could listen to the song, but I think that depends on the teacher.

It can be used with the lyrics as a Reading Comprenension, or for more advanced students, as an Oral Comprehension. Not appropriate for younger students and skill level is quite high.To be used with older students as the language can often be profane. However, in its structure, it is almost a modern-day Shakesprare play.

Listening task - Students listen to the lyrics and fill in the blanks.  The worksheet was created upon the request of students and, fortunately or not, contains some curse words.
