Talking about emotions

This worksheet is thought to be used as a picture dictionary for kids that are learning English as a second language. Here you can find the main emotions that they can experience. The images of the cats can be a good way of showing them the emotions.

Practice each emotion together as a whole class. 

Have the students repeat an example to get started: 

"The last time I felt angry, I didn't get what I wanted."

Invite students to choose an emotion, and call on each student to share a story about what happened the last time they felt that emotion.
