This work sheet is designed as a partner exercise to the famous song by Shakin Stevens. Pupils can read through the texts and fill in the gaps. Work sheet A has the words for the gaps in work sheet B and vice versa. At the end the class can listen to the song and compare results.

Alternatively you can use only one work sheet as a listening comprehension.

This is a way to practice parts of speech in English by plugging into a short essay about Fall (Autumn). Depending on the words chosen, it will generate a silly story. One student had a family in the yard raking piles of dictionaries.

A choose your own path class activity that focuses on two different fall festivals. A multimedia alternative to the typical autumn worksheets, this one focuses on how two different cultures celebrate their own autumn festivals: Sukkot and the Moon festival.  Play the first video (linked in the worksheet) let the kids answer the questions, same with the second video. Once you've all reviewed the questions together you can have them vote on which festival they'd like to learn more about. Then do the short reading and expansion video of the festival of their choosing.
