This worksheet is a way of getting to know the pupils favorites by expressing through drawing. It is an awesome task that generate creativity in drawing their favorites. The pupils are asked to orally introduce themselves after finishing the worksheet. This worksheet encourages pupils to think of what they like the most. 

My Favorites

This is a Listening activity you can carry out with elementary learners for practicing food vocabulary and also to practice Like/dislike structures (e.g., Superman likes tomatoes). You can create your own script for reading out loud to students, so according to what you read they will listen to and they will follow your instructions to complete the superheroes favorites chart. You will be able also to create questions for them to answer according to the listening activity, for instance, Does flash like carrots?. You can use this chart as you want. It is a fun and practical activity.

Print the images and give to students to work in pairs and make comparisons using the vocabulary given in the 1st. page. If you like you can have a competition among groups to see who defends best his/her product, using comparative arguments.

I used with my students as a Wrap up and as a competition; they really loved to defend their ideas.

Favorites Board Game

This worksheet is focused on practicing WH- and yes/no questions in the topic of favorite things, activities and people. It was designed for a low-level speaking club and is supposed to suit Elementary and Pre-intermediate level students. They have to ask questions like "Is your favorite actor Brad Pitt?" or "Who's your favorite actor?" and write down the names of the students whose answers coincide with the ones mentioned in the worksheet. This activity is very similar to "Find someone who..." but the types of questions are different. Ideally, after finishing the task, the students need to report their findings back to the class/teacher.
