February calendar

This is a short, motivational passage about February. It is based on a short piece in the Times newspaper and the language has been adapted to suit A2 level. An upbeat and positive article with a true or false activity. The original article and the name of its author are on page 2. 

Reading activity: February

Find the vocabulary relating to the month of February in the word search puzzle. There are also some bonus words featured to make it a little more difficult. The word bank is located at the bottom of the print, and students simpy circle the words.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
