The topic of this worksheet is sport. It consists of four different exercises. Students have to do two matching exercises, then fill in the gaps with appropriate words and suitable prepositions.

Sport (exercises)

A song activity, suitable to start a class about feelings (negative ones in the song), or to discuss about bullying. There are 5 exercises: choose the right word, order the lines, fill the gaps with synonyms, fill the gaps with past simple and find the meanings of some expressions. You could also use it to introduce passive voice infinitives. I hope you like it!

With this worksheets students can practise daily routines and the Present Simple (3rd person singular). They need to fill in gaps with the verbs provided and match the sentences with the pictures.

Students have to choose which preposition completes the sentence.

Easter Jokes 2 - gap-filling

A small fill-in-the-gaps exercise to do with idiomatic phrases for agreeing and disagreeing. An answer sheet is provided. There is also a quiz that can be done in teams on the origins of the expressions, also with an answer key.
