The teacher put on Youtube the song This is halloween and the students have to fill the gaps meanwhile they listen to the song. The teacher can fill the gaps too, to check the answer all together.

This exercise is a good one if you want to prepare something special for St. Valentine's Day. This song is very simple and repetitive, also I've made sure that the words one needs to put into the gaps are A1-A2 level. 



However, I guess you understand that this can be used for any levels and any ages, just as a fun warm-up activity.

This is a gap fill exercise. After having filled the gaps students try to find five different tenses in the song and highlight them. We do this after having learned past simple and cont. pr. perfect and the future

My student really wanted to learn this song by Celine Dion, so I came up with a listening exercise for her. It's a universal worksheet that can be used for any levels and any ages, quite a fun meter raiser, I must say :)



Of course, you have to play a song along with it. First, let your students read the worksheet and suggest what should be in the gaps. Then play the song (you might pause after each line or verse, depending on your students' level) once or twice, and check the answers one by one, line by line.
