The First Conditional. Finish the sentences.

More than 40 starters of a sentence are to be found in this 3-page upload. The idea is for students to finish the sentences by adding a number of words. Sentences must be grammatically correct. It is a good end of a lesson actvity or starter. (Obama says....../ I hate............/ At the end of the day I ...../ If you think so....)

Students write full sentences describing what each child is wearing using the present progressive tense. Early finishers can go back and describe what they are holding.  Teacher should do an example before letting the students go.  This can be printed or displayed, and can be done orally or by writing.

Pupils have to write colours, numbers, school objects, parts of the body, members of the family, weather under the right column. It can be used to make a general revision of vocabulary or just to have fun. When they finish doing the exercise you can divide the classroom in two groups. One group can write sentences and the other group can write questions to find out the answers
