Driving vs. Flying | Fear of Flying

This is a fun way to introduce your pupils to London. The video is available in YouTube under the same title. Students will be able to enjoy a song, label pictures, color the British flag, in addition to listening comprehenhion and vocabulary tasks. Have fun :)

Just a basic worksheet on kites since I was taking the class to the park so it had to be somewhat educational. Since iSLCOLLECTIVE had nothing on kites I thought I would try to contribute!

Kite Flying Verbs

Verbs that can be used in place of the word flying to perk up writing and speaking skills.  Synonyms for flying.

This is a TPR actitivy which you can apply it to children or beginner students.

You only need two fly swatters. Stick the flies randomly around  your classroom, your students must be in two teams. The teacher will mention one of the flies verb, but in present, for example: be. The students in turn will try to smash with the fly swatter the fly with the verb in past participle (been).

Pegasos, the Flying Horse

This is a fun simple basic vocabulary building crossword puzzle about wild animals and practicing how to count from 11-20. The students have to draw the line connected from the kite to the animal to figure out which animal is flying which kite. It's ideally used for young children who are just starting to learn how to read and write. It can be used for a class as a whole or one-on-one. This is a great way to practice writing and spelling skills and reinforce the brand new vocabulary that the kids just learned. You can also use this with flashcards so the students can make connections and understand better the sentences/words on this worksheet.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
