This is a crossword which students can use to test their knowledge of an assortment of things found in the Minecraft world. Can be done in pairs or as solo work. Also works for pronunciation.

Feelings boardgame

This is a simple worksheet on relative pronouns split into two parts; a listening test, and a sentence building task.



For the first 5 questions read five simple sentences using the word 'that'. The students simply have to listen, and decide whether 'that' should be replaced by 'who' or 'which'.

I used the following 5 sentences;

1 - Tennis is the sport that I like the most. (which)

2 - This is my friend that plays video games. (who)

3 - This is the girl that likes Disney. (who)

4 - I listened to a song that made me so happy. (which)

5 - I want to help people that are sick. (who)



For the last 4 questions, show the students two pictures per question and they must then 'build' two sentences using the options provided.

I used the following pictures;

6 - a chef / a green pepper, (This is a person who cooks food. / This is a food which is green.)

7 - a banana / a fruit farmer,

8 - a giraffe / a person swimming,

9 - Taylor Swift (popular female singer) / Usain Bolt (famous runner).



At the end, check the answers as a class.





Who or Which?

This worksheet is for the game "Alibi". If you are unfamiliar with the game, it is worth a shot. It stimulates a lot of conversation and creativity. The students make or break this one, so make sure your students are good enough. 

Alibi

This ws helps students to learn the vocab of making a phone call at a phone box. The reading exercise will be useful for them to learn the steps of an opinion essay and the most important linking words and their synonyms. On the second page they will have to put their brains to work and write a phone conversation with the clues given. Yeap!

In my experience, Spanish students find it very hard to understand the use of the auxiliaries in English. This is a simple domino game so that they can learn to ask questions in a funny way. This game is aimed to practice “will” and “be going to” in speaking. Each student gets a category and the card to write his predictions about his/her classmate.  Students should be very imaginative and make up funny predictions.

First introduce children to the first page vocabulary, then let them make the activity. You can play a game with the first page later(memory game/pictionary game) or dictate how to color the pictures in there.
