Homophones Games

It's useful to improve language. In the first activity, students have to find the words in the lamb from the list, and in the second one they answer the questions using the code and solve the riddles. I hope you like it!

Easter games

To practise present simple, past simple, occupations. 

It's played in teams/pairs. A student from each team takes a card and gives clues to his/her mates till they guess the personality in the card. They have a certain amount of time (according to their level), the team which has more guesses is the winner.

Guessing game

This is a great game for practising clothes - vocabulary and basic expressions - how to describe a person. There are also some other exercises and tasks for intermediate students. I like to play this game with new students. This way they get to know each other. In the end I give each student five origami elephants for them to put on the questions they think friends should answer the same and then have a discussion about it.

Friendship game

There are different ways to use this game. Beginning sounds, final sounds, phonetic sounds etc. I hope it's useful for some of you.

abc game

I created this game as a fun learning exercise. When it gets too easy, you can add a time element (eg. 3 seconds per field). I also have the students count while walking the fields.

Animal game

Cut the cards . Students mime what is on their card. It might be useful to laminate the cards. 

Miming game

A game  based on the material connected with 'food'. It's designed up to 4 players. Some questions are dedicated to Polish students. You can find questions revising countable and uncoutable nouns. Basic vocabulary and expressions connected with food.
