This ia a Christmas gap fill activity using the lyrics to the song One More Sleep by Leona Lewis. Play the song twice while the students fill in the gaps. I have left the lyric sheets blank but you can add any pictures you wish. I´ve left it blank to make printing cheaper and easier. It´s in Word so can be adapted by adding or removing words. After completing the activity I ask the students questions about the song, e.g. who is she singing about? When are they arriving? (Christmas Day!) The full song lyrics are at the end.

Taylor Swift Love Story gap fill exercise. Firstly the students listen to the song twice and fill in the gaps. Then the teacher checks the answers to be sure each student has the correct vocabulary. Then the students study the lyrics and decide which parts are in the present simple, present continuous, past continuous and future tenses. They write the corresponding parts of the lyrics in the correct box on the second page. This worksheet should fill a 60 minute lesson, depending on the level of the class. It tests listening and grammar.
