You can make your students practice the pronouns this, these, that, those in a real life situation. These are two pieces of luggage, one for males and one for females. The students have to role play the situation when there are some problems with your luggage (liquids, metal things or electrical devices in it) at security gates and you have to explain what the content of your luggage is.

This is a reading worksheet based on a speech made by Bill Gates to some high school students. It includes worm-up speaking activity, main text and a vocabulary practice part. Suitable for intermediate students.

Bill Gates on Life

Based on a video (link provided), this is mostly a listening activity (American English). Students need to fill the gaps and then answer comprehension questions. Can be used as a springboard for discussion on technology or travelling.
