This worksheet aims to allow students to practice directions, places in the community,  and prepositions of place by indicating where certain places are in a usual neighborhood.

German ESL students are asked to fill the gaps in the given conversation in which a secret agent tries to describe to a colleague back in headquarters where their suspect is going.

There are background graphics included that seemingly insist on losing their transparency between saves. A PDF upload option would have solved that, but here we are. So if a giant secret agent is staring you down from the page, blocking the actual text, try to get a hold of him with the mouse tool and reduce him to 80% transparency.

I realize that a set of solutions would come in handy, however I find myself too pressed for time right now to make one. So Godspeed, dear colleagues.

I made this document to support learners in practicing the communicative function of giving directions. It provides a formula to form directions, examples of the formula in use, and a task for students to practice giving directions. Key location terms are listed in both American and British English. I've just updated this worksheet as there were a couple of mistakes in the previous one. Sorry for that! I think it's useful to learn how to ask and give directions in a city. There's a city map with the vocabulary needed and 3 exercises included to practise dialogues. If you start by asking for the nearest places and you move slowly to the farthest ones, you'll have lots of practice! Keys included. I hope you like it!

Teacher or another student dictates the directions. There's comprehension questions. Easily adaptable to give half of the information to one student and half of the information to another student to make it a true information gap.

This worksheet teaches all the rules of capitalization in a fun holiday/fall/autumn-themed worksheet. Students will learn all the rules of when to capitalize with examples. 



They will have to capitalize a series of sentences without capitalization. Finally, there is a fun exercise where they need to write a synopsis for their own holiday movie or film. 



They need to use correct capitalization in their titles and draw a picture to accompany their holiday movie summary.
