A role-play of bullying at school. Bullying is a serious issue today. Sadly, it takes place in the schools, and it is sometimes overlooked. It has sentences in the simple past and simple present tense. It also has phrasal verbs.

The worksheet has two exercises regarding the same video: "10 popular actors fired for the craziest reasons" (ATTENTION: link provided in the worksheet!)

1) True or False exercise about the first 3 minutes. - according to the level of the student, you may add a 'correct the mistake' part. 

2) Answer the questions about the last minutes of the video.

Listening video comprehension

This game is designed for elementary level, to introduce students to some basic English vowels. Teachers first list the vowels on the board and demonstrate how they sound. Then students practice as a whole class for a few time. After that, in pairs, they are given the worksheet for more practice.

Mean Girls (2004) is a popular movie that has been quoted very often both online and offline. 



First,  they watch a scene without sound and  share their ideas and interpretations on what is happening in the scene.



Second, they read the script and learn new words from everyday life. 



Third, they watch the scene and discuss the idea of bullying, gossiping at high school.

Crossword - News and Media

Students will practice asking and responding to the question: "Have you heard about_?" 

This is a flick coin game, fun activity where the learners play one on one, flicking a coin and developing the key expression by themselves as the coin lands on a picture.  They then cross out the square, or color it in.  This can be played in a number of ways.  Learners can see who can get four in a row first (like connect four) or they can see who can fill in the most squares.  

Have you heard 

This is an activity for up to 12 students. Cut up the sentence and give each student one strip. 

Students share the information (gossip) and complete the table with the name, job, mode of transport, and juicy gossip about the people.
