A selection of English ESL grade 6 printables

I made this originally as a cover sheet for my students English files but I also ended up using it as an introduction to a unit on English speaking countries...eliciting the countries , what they know about the countries (using the icons on the cover sheet)and finally a listening dictation on colouring the flags. My students are elementary school Grade 4-6 with a varying level of English in each class.This worked well as they didn´t lose interest and it catered to all levels.

this sheet is for the tunisian 6th grade . i used pictures of fruit and vegetables from ESL printable . this aim of this worksheet is to teach pupils different names of food , names of the shops at the market and how to ask about price . there is also a text and comprehension . i hope you like it .

This birthday crosswords included the following words: balloon 	. card .cake . candles .hat. present .ice-cream and friends. These vocabularies can be thought to primary as well as grade 1 and 2 , 6 to 8 years old children. I would highly recommend the teachers to show them  flashcards first then give out this worksheet to students and allow them to work freely and in a cooperative manners. Timing would be a good idea however not recommend . Good luck
