Guess who game. for first year japanese junior high school students.



 Focuses on using the past tense.



 Students choose a character and write the name in the box on the left. 

 The pair takes turns asking Did you questions.

 Based on the answers they X out characters until they know who the other person is.

Guess Who 

Board game to play guess who in pairs or in groups. 

Pupils will have to ask yes/no questions and give short answers using BE or HAVE in the present. They will need vocabulary about physical description (hair, mouth, nose). Some help is given for the accessories. It can be used as a revision scheme.

Guess Who?

This activity has to be the best I have ever created. You can use this for a variety of things such as describing people, playing guess who with a class, or even use it as a conversation starter. Use your imagination the uses are endless with this type of activity. 

Guess who... 

This is a simple speaking game. Have students choose the identity card first and then give them another one with some information missing. They have to talk to others to fill in the blanks and finish the personal information card they have.  It is a fun activity for them to practice asking for and answering some personal information. Before the game, the teacher might want to go over some basic questions and possible answers.

Guessing Who

I try to gather famous people/characters. Make students draw one card and other students ask questions to guess who it is. I find it better when i divide them into smaller groups so that everyone has to talk. Another way for more advanced students is for the one drawing the card describing it. Ask questions such as: Is it a he or she? Where is he from? What\'s his job? What is he famous for?

Guess who game with monsters for children. Very useful to practise body parts. I have spent a long time trying to find enough monsters from all over the net using Kisdobos's resources too - hope no one minds.:)

As I wrote the instructions it might have a few spelling mistakes.

Print, laminate and use whiteboard markers to play this game - choose one object, your partner must do the same; ask yes/no questions to guess what your partner has chosen. The first person to do it is the winner.
