Explain It Intermediate Students Cards 2

There are several sheets with pictures and interesting facts of strange animals. The teacher cuts out the sentences and pictures and then the children need to guess which fact applies to which animal. It's more suitable to be played with small groups and children who have at least an intermediate level.

This ‘Olympic Sports Activity’ is great for building Olympic sport vocabulary while developing fluency in describing things. It also provides an opportunity for practising relative clauses. Students take turns describing the sports on their card to a partner, and their partner must guess which sport they are describing.

Olympic Sports Activity

The worksheet has two exercises to revise vocabulary. Book we cover is Discover English 4, but it's good as a general revision of vocabulary as well. One exercise is gap filling with the hint, the other is multiple choice one.

Vocabulary 41 (General revision)

Have your students reading using this game. Students ask each other "Do you have...?" and answer according to the category and the highlighted word. each player starts with 4 cards
