Guess My Word (Jobs)

Easy game to practice conversation describing famous people and trying to guess who. Questions and Answers. Instructions about how to play. Practice of Present Simple, Adjectives, Possessive Pronouns and World Vocabulary.

Guess Who Game - conversation

It´s a set of cards with basic description of places. The kids are supposed to work in pairs. Each child receives a number of cards and they read the description to each other. They are supposed to guess the place based on the description.

There are about thirty sentences. Each sentence is a cue to find a word. To help you ... count the number of dashes and you know how many letters you have to write.

After having taught the names of animals, you cut the pieces apart and put them face down. Students take turns drawing a card and now the other students must guss the name of the animal. Card holder can only answer Yes or No. The one to guess the animal gets to keep the card.

Guess My Word (Animals)

A fun guess-who activity that tests three categories of vocabulary: physical appearance, jobs and hobbies. Students are frstly required to fill the gaps and then match the picures with the above descriptions. A good follow-up activity would be to write a simiar short description about themselves.

Perfect to practice possessives, adjectives and Yes/No Questions.



Instruction: Give each group of students a "Guess Who For Children" card. Ask each group to secretly choose a person from the picture. They will have to take turns to make yes/no questions to other groups so that they can guess the number of the person the other groups chose. Sample questions: Is it a girl?, Is her hair blond? Does she have braids? Is she wearing a red blouse?, etc.



The winner will be the group that guess the person by making fewer questions.



They also can guess who are the children in the picture. Most of them are famous actors when they were children.
