A fun sorting animal habitat activity to help build an understanding of animal habitats. Terrestrial and Aquatic animals are covered in a fun an playful way. Hope you like it 

Habitats

From the depths of the ocean to the top of the highest mountain, habitats are places where plants and animals live. Animals, plants, and all living things are adapted to life in their natural surroundings. These different environments are called habitats. 

This is a really way to practice the theory seen in class. The students color, cut and glue during the development of the activity. Classify and identify animals and vocabulary may be fun

Your students are supposed to write the names of as many animals as they can find. They should also think of the animal's habitats. You can print out this document.

Animals - Habitats

Students will do a matcihing activity where the animals live and the, they will complete some sentences according to the first part of the activity. It is a way to review or introduce the topic.

Animal habitat

This is what I use for my second graders. They need to look at the pictures, choose the correct ones and then they write the sentences. It's a combination of grammar practice and also how to write a simple sentence using the correct structure.

Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
