A selection of English ESL halloween printables with beginner (pre-a1)

I have created flashcards and some exercises for those students, who are interested in Halloween. Colourful and nice pictures will help them to remember the words. I have added a text about Halloween and some exercises to work with the text and Halloween topic.

Halloween

Simple vocabulary and colours for primary students it can be used as an addition to Genki English lesson on Happy Halloween.

Words used: bat, skeleton, witch, vampire, wand, broom, mummy, scarecrow.

Happy Halloween to everyone :)

Children read the sentences and draw Halloween characters in the haunted house following the instructions. It's a fun activity to revise prepositions of place. The exercise is aimed at young learners.

Halloween 

This is a vocabulary worksheet for younger pupils. It's easy and funny for Halloween time. The kids have an opportunity to learn words that belong to Halloween and to use them in a text. There are three exercises. Happy Halloween !

Colour the title in orange, black, purple, brown and red

Colour the pictures with the correct colours, read the words,  copy the letters on the lines and say them.

students should connect the dots (either with numbers or with alphabet letters) and complete the halloween related image. then they should colour and learn how to spell "Happy Halloween"

Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
