Going through my older teaching stuff I have come across this vocabulary worksheet and I remembered it was great fun using it in my lessons. So I am sharing it with you.

Vocabulary work-Halloween rhymes

A handout with some activities taken from the Teacher's Magazine n° 217 plus others added by me. It is a guideline for students who are learning to write a film review. The movie "IT" (2017) is used as an example.

Hocus Pocus is a 1993 American comedy horror fantasy film directed by Kenny Ortega.

Halloween Crossword (B2/C1)

Worksheet to work with the fifth episode of the TV show "The Neighbors" in Halloween. Includes a multiple choice activity, a vocabulary matching activity and a writing task. It also includes the translation into Spanish of some difficult words and expressions.

This is a very fun Halloween activity for kids and teens - a very different kind of lesson!  Pre-teach measurements and ingredients.  Older kids can do it on their own, younger ones need help.  Lots of prep, but LOTS of fun!  Depending on what country you are in you can find borax in a supermarket or order it from the pharmacy.

Toilet Terror Halloween Special!

A story set about a girl named Tina who is supposed to be jinxed and is hence, alienated and ridiculed. There are reflective questions, word meanings, idioms and a small passage to insert adverbs, adjectives etc. to make the passage more interesting. There is a true and false activity too as well as a partial key. Finally, they are few quotes on bad luck, karma and attitudes for a reflective discussion in the class. l Hope you can find some use for it. Thank you! :)

JINXED A HALLOWEEN STORY.

Famous song, "Thriller", by Michael Jackson is perfect for Halloween! Great song for pre-intermediate level or higher. Lots of vocabulary, so a glossary is included. Instructions for the teacher and an answer key are given.
