This is a science worksheet, a diagram of the ear. Students must label the parts of the ear with the vobaulary listed, try to remember the parts of the ear. Also, they must go to a video link that gives a short explaination about hearing loss. After watching the video, students should explain in their own words how a person could possibly lose their hearing.

The Ear and How We Hear

This is a short reminiscence I wrote. It is good for upper-intermediate and advanced students. Like all of my contributions, this one contains a bit of whimsey which my students have enjoyed. I have included some discussion questions, but you may want to add more. I do not shy away from idiom, and the stories should generate some good questions. I would love to have your feedback.

This is a worksheet created for 1st graders. This is a simple one, but it was useful in revising the five senses. The kids enjoyed drawing things they can hear, taste, smell and touch.

A quick and easy worksheet to help your students with word association! I find that this exercise not only helps to learn new vocabulary but also to develop a deep, complex understanding of the word itself. Students can discuss with one another or with aloud with the class. I prefer aloud with the class so the students can communicate their ideas and learn some others as well. Enjoy!

What do you think of when you hear these words?

Not exactly rocket science to come up with an activity like the one above, but despite its triviality, it can pull the 'creativity/quick thinking trigger' in your students' minds. It can be a warm-up activity before e. g. creating a story or a miscellaneous speaking session - it simply provides a sort of mental 'dots' which in turn give inspiration. You can also make it into a vocabulary drill by telling students to give as many SINGLE words related to the key one as it is only possible. Whichever way - good fun!

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
