Summer holidays - CROSSWORD 

The board game is about travel and travelling. You can make it fit your students as it is fully editable. It is always nice to bring a little fun into the lessons and this board game will provide fun.

I usually use this for running dictations around Thanksgiving to teach the students a little about the holiday and let them have a fun activity which practices all the skills.  You could definitely do a lot more with it concentrating on vocab or grammar.

Holiday starts soon, so I tought I would make a wordsearch for my students to revise vocabulary linked to vacation. There are 39 words to find in this wordsearch. I recommend first explain the meaning of the words and then tell student to find them in this worksheet.

Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
