A reading and discussion lesson for advanced students based on an article written by Grace Elise Van Valkenburg for The Borgen Project, entitled Homelessness in Thailand: Building Hope Through Building Houses (July 2020). 



Students first look at pictures related to homelessness and discuss these, before moving on to a pre-reading vocabulary matching exercise. After reading the article itself, students answer comprehension questions. Finally, there are some discussion questions about the article and the broader issue of homelessness.
