Homophones are words that spell differently, have a different meaning, but have the same pronunciation. The students have to find the pairs and write them down. The students could work in pairs and find other homophones. The pair that found more pairs, is the winner.

This is an explanation poster for homophones. Visual content was used while preparing it. Vivid colors were preferred in order to be remembered for a long time. I believe this poster will be very useful to your students.

made originally for adult class esl, but good for all levels. Helpful for reading comprehension and grammar. Includes a few practice sentences to fill in with the correct homophone.

Students cut and paste the correct homophone word under the picture that shows its meaning. Then, they choose the correct homophone word to complete the sentences in an exercise for more practice.

This crossword puzzle focuses on homophone pairs. There are 10 vertical and 10 horizontal clues that serve as an aid to completing the activity, as well as 10 pictures (nouns) for extra help.
