A picture with a story attached. A fire breaks out in a town house and people come out to see what is going on. The fire brigade turns up and puts the fire out. They have to put the verbs into the past simple tense or past continuous tense and then answer the questions. They could discuss the fire brigade in their own countries, the emergency numbers to use. Of course in the UK, it is 999.
